Here's little Emily, only a year ago, taking a long swig from her bottle at the Spray Park on Chapel Rd. She was four inches shorter than she is today and could run and play with the best of the playgroupies. This picture makes her eyes bug out now, followed by a snort of laughter at the blatant carelessness of her childish self.
These pictures
were taken in
July of 2006--
just a year ago--
yet the ways our
precious offsping
change and
morph into who
they will become are remarkable.

It is with halved enthusiasm and sadness that we urge them on into this curious and immeasurable world of growth--in both the size of the body and in the volume of the growing mind.
Here, Benjamin and Kye Nielsen share a joyful moment at the Chapel Spray Park as they wait to be spramped with water from the drop cone above. Aaaaaahhhh! It never gets old (unlike our boys), which is the beauty of it.

Check out the new blog look. Looking great. And as always the writing leaves me dumbfounded.
