A Young Man of Promise

The first day of Kindergarten was informative for Joshie, and he seemed to have the rules pretty well down pat.

At least we thought so...

Nevertheless, we think it's going to be a great school year. Josh thrives on the routine, the expectation, and the order of it all. Lines? He loves them. They are on the go every minute of the day, at school from 8:00 am to 3:20 pm. He seems to get plenty of time for reading during rest time, which is perfect and low stress. Reading has opened up new worlds for him, from being able to take his turn at scripture time to joining us in Pictionary, it's something he loves to do and seems to improve on every day. We hope this new chapter in his life will teach him about succeeding in social settings, making good friends, and of course, challenging his sharp little mind to meet its potential.
